Tomallow Paste
番節抹醬 Fanjei Mojiang
Healthy and easy to make, 番節抹醬 Fanjei Mojiang (Tomallow Paste)!
Ingredients
- Middle size tomato 1
- Chopped onion 20g
- Chopped garlic 1 tsp
- Thin baby mallow 1
- Olive oil 30 ml
- Sauce
- Sweel basil herbs and spices 1tsp
- Seasoning
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Tomato sauce 1 tbsp
Directions
A. Veggies
- Draw an "X" on the bottom of the tomato and boil / steam it until it's soft.
- Fry the pan with olive oil in middle small heat and join the chopp onion and garlic when the pan is hot.
- Meanwhile cut the baby mallow and boiled / steamed tomato into small cubs.
- Fry the tomato cubs when the onion is soft and can be seen through.
- When it's slightly boiling join the seasonings as per sauce ingredient, slightly stir and mix with baby mallow.
