Orange Stew

Orange Stew is not stew oranges, it's carrot, potato and apple cubes stew with thick sweet soy sauce, which is an easy, light and tasty dish. The colour is orange so I name it Orange Stew.
It tasted more intersting than I expacted, especially the little apple bites!!

*ps And it was the dish we celebrated CatTuna New Open!! And definitely cat, Tuna was treated like a king,too!

Ingredients

  • Baby patato 5
  • Carrot 2
  • Green apple 1
  • Seasoning
  • Thick sweet soy sauce 3 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 1tsp
  • White wine 1 tbsp
  • Boiled water 200 ml

Directions

A. Preparation

  1. Clean and peel the carrots, baby potatoes and green apple. Cut them into bite-size cubes.
  2.  Place the potato cubes in the water to soak for 10 minutes (this process can prevent discoloration of potatoes) then drain water and stand by.

B. Orange Stew

  1. Lighty stir fry the carrot and potato until a little bit  soft and add apple cubes, then add 1 tbsp of thick sweet soy sauce and the seasonings as per the ingredient list. Mix well, cover, low heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Add another 2 tbsp of thick sweet soy sauce and continue cooking until the sauce remaining 1/3, turn to high heat, mix the sauce and the veggies well. Serve when the sauce is thick and a little bit dry.
